One of my colleagues was gallivanting in lovely Thailand, so we got a new guy at work.
Apparently, fire drills are a good idea. *shrug* As far as I can tell, it's a little like the boy who cried wolf a few too many times. We spent the first five minutes wondering if it was a drill or a mistake. So yeah, it's a boring picture. Sorry.
A work colleague came back from the U.K. this week and he came bearing gifts. I like this kind of return. :) He went to the lovely MUJI store (and really, when are they going to open a store in Melbourne? It's long overdue.) and brought me back "Outer Space in a Bag." I didn't include it in this still-life, but it did indeed come in a little canvas bag. There's planets, a couple of UFOs (what's space without aliens?) space shuttle, two rockets on a truck and with its own launch pad, sputnik, satellite and a space station. I guess I'll have to supply the stars by poking holes in the blind. o_O
